Eddie Hearn and AJ keep Fury fight in Britain
AJ apparently said no to bigger money just to keep this one on British soil, and that decision is why the whole thing is still alive. The Fury fight was being talked about for New York at first, but Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua wouldn't move on it. They wanted it in Britain, full stop. Now Cardiff's Principality Stadium is the expected venue in December. So the question is simple: did Hearn and AJ make the right call forcing Fury vs. Joshua to stay home instead of chasing the bigger payday in New York?

We've talked about this quite a bit, you and I, Robert. Eddie, going to bat for his fighters. And I think he did the right thing here because the AJ fighting Tyson in New York just did not make sense for a lot of reasons. One, the UK fans, of course. Two, both fighters. They're both UK fighters. We've got UK heavyweights, two of the biggest UK heavyweights in recent memory. They don't need to fight here. The fans are better there. They're going to turn out. also I think it wasn't really even ground because AJ had such a disastrous fight at the garden the first time when he fought Andy Ruiz so I think now this makes it more even territory the fans are going to going to be there for it the only thing is it's going to be at two o'clock in the morning because they are going for east coast time but listen Eddie did his job I think he he had his contract he stuck to his guns and he was under a ton of pressure but he stuck it out for his guy AJ
