Spontaneous laughter and unscripted comments made it into the final cut of FORGOTTEN ISLAND. Liza Soberano and H.E.R. recorded their dialogue lines together, including a scene where they rapped side by side. That specific moment created something you cannot replicate. They were saying things and laughing about them during recording, and those genuine reactions definitely stayed in the film.

How do you feel you guys? Bounced off each other? What was it like physically being next to each other? We did both. Yeah, we did do both. We only had two sessions together, so majority of our sessions were actually separate. But I feel like even if we didn't get that opportunity to record together, Joel and Janewal are just so good at making sure that we really understand what's going on in the scene, and we understand the energy that is required for the scene. But also, we would do this thing where we would just listen to each other's recordings. Oh. And I would record my line right after Gabby's. Yeah, yeah, but it was fun when we recorded together. And I think it did help, but like she said, it would have been fine either way. But I think that scene in particular where we're like rapping together. Yeah, that one, you cannot replicate that. Yeah, that moment was very organic. There were things that we were saying and laughing about that they definitely kept in the film that were kind of unplanned.
