The pitch out of Minnesota: Michele Tafoya, Republican, is closing on Peggy Flanagan, and the polls back it up. TIPP sits at D+2, KSTP/SurveyUSA has it dead even, co/efficient puts it at D+1. Close enough that an upset in the MN Senate race isn't fantasy. What the campaign is selling is a cleanup. Restore what Minnesota loves, stop it getting stolen, fix the trust problem with the people in charge. And they tie Tafoya straight to the Walz fraud mess. Walz bailed on his own race. Flanagan, his Lt. Gov for 7.5 years, wants a promotion and plays like she saw none of it. Minnesota is blue. Purple would be historic. The fraud environment is the thing that makes a result like this actually reachable.
