Hasan Piker on fan behavior

by Silvestre: Hasan Piker

Hasan draws a sharp line between the defensive frenzy of Destiny fans and the quiet loyalty of his own community. He describes the behavior of some Destiny supporters as extreme, noting their political expression is limited to defending a leader they treat like a cult figure. The intensity is so overwhelming he calls it mentally ill, admitting he doesn't understand what makes such chaos exciting. In contrast, plenty of long-term supporters never go to these great lengths to defend his honor, even when events are electorally consequential. While he acknowledges that followers can choose to speak up if they want, he clarifies that he never goes out in the world to demand people defend him.
