China modular net launcher for police

A UHMWPE net is at the core of a new non-lethal capture tool out of China, built to entangle a suspect who fights against it, tightening the more they struggle. The launcher itself is lightweight and modular, and it can reach someone standing 5 to 15 meters away. Deployment can happen by hand, or the whole thing can be mounted on a drone, an unmanned ground vehicle, or a robotic dog. The point of it all: police gain the ability to immobilize a suspect without closing the distance or reaching for a firearm.
