THE BLACK DAHLIA production history

by Capucine · old hollywood: David Fincher

The film THE BLACK DAHLIA is marking its 20th anniversary. David Fincher was originally set to direct the project and imagined a mini-series version of James Ellroy's novel instead. He stepped away because he felt unable to realize the movie as he wanted it, leaving Brian De Palma to take over directing duties.
