James Christoph on crypto diminishing returns
by Freddenver: Bitcoin
Hearing James Christoph say the next cycle brings diminishing returns hits different when he also admits he was probably a true believer about five years ago, back when crypto subsuming everything and becoming the entire world seemed like a lock. If you'd told him crypto markets would grow about five times what the normal economy does perpetually, he'd have bought it. So when people come out and say this cycle bitcoin's gonna go to $600,000, he doesn't think that's something people can expect. He doesn't call it overhyped either. Just less than before. That's the whole take from IN THE TRENCHES EP. 78 with KrutzykyTrades and JamesChristoph.

I don't think people can expect, like when people come out and they say, all right, this cycle of Bitcoin is going to go to 600k because of the rainbow chart and random math that worked in the past. I think they should really temper their expectations, right? Like even if you think of last cycle, we went from, you know, a top of the last cycle at 69k to 128 or whatever we printed on Bitcoin. And then basically every other coin barely got back to its all time high or never even came close. like that should be quite instructive to people that, um, things aren't just going to continue to inflate forever. Interesting. Um,
