Demi Lovato makes brigadeiro in Brazil

    by Llange: Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato messed up one word on a Brazilian stage and turned it into homework. Now she's learning brigadeiro, the chocolate dessert, folding in Lech Mousse, butter and sprinkles, and calling the finished plate perfect. Brazil holds its culture close, and someone who actually puts in the effort like this earns the country's recognition. Glad she leaned into it instead of pretending it never happened

I'm coming to Brazil! Oi, I'm Demi. Okay, so today I'm going to make frigadero, which is a chocolate Brazilian dessert. And we're gonna make that because one time I was on stage, I accidentally said frigadero instead of obrigada. Which is thank you in Portuguese. It made for a really embarrassing, but also hilarious moment. So we're gonna make frigadero today. Lech Mousse. Can we go pronunciation? Hell yeah. Sprinkles, cocoa powder, butter. I tried to add one of butter, I didn't want it. Okay, let's do it. Now we're gonna add a can of Lech Mousse. Ready? Wow, okay, there we go. Now we're gonna add a tablespoon of butter. Stir for each of 10 minutes. I think it's ready. And now we let it cool for 20 to 30 minutes. Now that it's cool, we're gonna mold them into little balls. So now that we have our little balls, we're going to roll them in chocolate sprinkles. Sprinkles. Okay, I think I killed this. Now I gotta try it. It's perfect. Just like I remember it. Obrigada!
