That modular Tron 2 bot from LimX Dynamics just pulled off a scaled-down construction demo with Zinova, showing it can switch between a stationary dual-arm rig, a wheeled base, or a bipedal walker. The test had it moving in all sorts of directions and heights while building wooden molds and tying metal bars. Real potential for construction work here. #Science

Using Limb X-Dynamics Tron 2 as the base, a company called Xenova conducted a real test to see whether a robot could be used in construction work. Tron 2 itself is a shape-shifting robot that consists of a core body that can be reconfigured into a stationary dual-arm setup, a wheeled base, or a bipedal walker. Here it is configured to move lots of directions and at different heights. The robot successfully completed building wooden molds and placing and tying metal bars.
