Vortex Bladeless wind turbine

No gearbox, no blades, just a cylindrical mast moving back and forth in the wind. Spanish company Vortex Bladeless built this system where an electromagnetic generator turns that oscillation into electrical power. A carbon rod holds up the vertical structure while a linear alternator inside converts the motion directly into electricity. Since there are no rotating blades, maintenance stays minimal and wildlife harm drops significantly. This approach might work well for urban settings and protected zones where traditional turbines struggle.
