Xynova Prima 1 robotic hand

A new robotic hand called Prima 1 just dropped from Xynova, and it's got 22 degrees of freedom for all kinds of movement and grip styles. What makes it stand out is the combo of vision and tactile sensors, so it can actually recognize objects better and handle them with more care. The direct-drive motors let it move fast and still hoist up to 20 kg. That's some serious hardware for manipulation tasks.

Chinese robotics company Zynova has introduced Prima 1, a new dexterous robotic hand designed for advanced manipulation. The hand has 22 degrees of freedom, allowing its fingers to move and grip objects in many ways. It also combines vision and tactile sensing to better understand what it is touching. Prima 1 uses direct drive motors for fast and precise movements. Zynova says the hand can deliver up to 15 newtons of fingertip force and lift objects weighing up to 20 kilograms.
