Israel Katz on Jewish Terrorism Definition

    by Gabriel K: Israel Katz

Israel Katz, the Israeli Minister of Defense, has canceled the term 'Jewish terrorism' in the West Bank. He defines any action taken to commit terrorism against the State of Israel as just that, regardless of who does it. While he identifies Palestinians and Palestinian terror as a problem, he refuses to issue arrest warrants for individuals like Kaplan or those in Judea and Samaria. Actions labeled as 'Jewish Purim' are classified as violence rather than terrorism by him. If actual terrorism occurs, it will be treated as such without exception. This stance was delivered during an interview program titled 'Decision Time: Democracy and Society on Test'.
