Florida Republicans are convinced their votes stay safe because counting gets wrapped up fast instead of dragging out for weeks. DeSantis moved on multiple fronts starting in 2021 by banning unsolicited mass mail and Zuckerbucks while restricting drop boxes, which pushed Republican voter registration up by over R+100K. The crackdown deepened in 2022 when election police got created and ballot harvesting faced new blocks, driving another R+400K surge. Penalties for ballot harvesting have been increased to a Felony level now. Registration kept climbing through the years hitting R+800K in 2023, R+1.15M in 2024, R+1.46M in 2025, and finally R+1.54M in 2026. Even if we didn't have the COVID migration surge, we'd still be more red than pre-2020 levels according to the author's take. This is exactly what happens when you secure elections properly so DO THIS NATIONWIDE!!
