The Last of the Mohicans chase scene

by Capucine · old hollywood: Trevor Jones

That final chase in THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS (1992) hits different because saving The Kiss and Promentory was such an inspired move. Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman wove the score so tightly with every cut, sprint, and glance that the visuals became part of the music itself. You can feel how the entire sequence just keeps accelerating from start to finish.
