    Jasmine Crockett hit CNN with a different look and owned up to skipping the campaign trail for Democrat James Talarico, pinning her earlier loss to him on racism. Her take: down-ballot names getting drowned out by one huge race need a boost so voters have more than one reason to show up. She's not a Trump fan either, but doesn't see why that has to cancel out pushing the undercard. Says she's part of the fire pack, running around the country to get those profiles up. #JasmineCrockett

    For me, I think that making sure that people that maybe are getting overshadowed because it seems like it's only about one big race, I think amplifying them, making sure that I can raise their profiles and introducing them to people, that'll give something more to voters to make them say, you know what, it may be raining outside, but I got to go get there because I got to go get there for this person and this person. Plus, I don't like Trump. I understand. But is it an either or? Either you excite the down ballot or you. I think for me it probably is. I think it probably is. Only because I am, you know, we've got the fire pack that's going. And I'm running all over the country.
