Trump on Glenn Beck program
by Jolyon: Donald Trump
Donald J. Trump appeared on the Glenn Beck program to declare that it is time to teach Canada who the boss is in North America. He stated the US will not do business or trade with the neighbor, claiming they do not have anything the US has to have. Trump acknowledged a couple of things would be inconvenient but asserted the US can get them elsewhere. He said it is time to teach Canada they cannot do this anymore, citing a loss of $60 billion a year and more. This stance contrasts with past administrations that viewed Canada as a vital economic partner and ally while focusing on expanding free trade. Trump is fixated on perceived abuses including a massive trade deficit. He is renaming Canadian lakes and threatening to annex them. Writer: Michael

won't do any business. In other words, we won't trade. They don't have anything that we have to have. Okay. We can get by. I mean, there are a couple of things that would make it a little inconvenient, but we could get them elsewhere. And it's time to teach Canada you can't do this anymore. We lose $60 billion and really more than that, $60 billion a year with Canada.
