Requisiem onchain market analysis
by Freddenver: Crypto
Requisiem talks about the patience needed when holding a trade he believes in before the market agrees. He points out that the onchain market now has as many or more participants than ever, but with a big shift: a large skew toward people who are very active and trying to make more, even if they have less capital. Comparing now to 2021, when he started, back then there were lots of people with lots of money alongside many without much. Now, there are far fewer with substantial funds, but equal or more with limited means. So attention on assets can be high even when volume isn't, which might make the market seem weaker because prices aren't soaring as much, but really, the focus comes from those who lack the bankroll to push things to their desired levels. That means considering the type of play and the average buyer's financial capacity. For example, New lie on BSE reached a 65 mil market cap while Triple T on Solana topped at 30. Some might see New lie as more viral, but Requisiem argues Triple T is actually more viral. The issue is that buyers of Triple T didn't have enough money to send it to where it should be priced. People often say something deserves a certain market cap without thinking about whether the marginal buyer at that level can support it. You have to ask why you think something is mispriced first, then decide if it truly is. His view is that everything in time will always be priced where it should be.

we currently are in an interesting spot. I wouldn't say we've been in a spot like this before, because while, in my opinion, there are equal or more participants than there have been previously in almost any time in the on-chain market, I think there's a very large skew of people who have less being a lot more active and trying to make more. So I think back in 2021, specifically when I started, there were a lot of people who had a lot of money, but there were also a lot of people who didn't have a lot of money. Now there's a lot less people with a lot of money, but there's equal or more people that don't have much money. So there's a lot of attention on things, even if there's not as much volume on them. And just because of that, you may think that the market is not as good because things are not going as high but it rather that the attention is being placed by people who simply don have the bankroll to see it to where they want to see it And you may have to consider the type of play that you in and the bankroll of the average buyer who will be interested in buying your coin. You may consider something like this as an example. New lie on BSE went to 65 mil and triple T on Solana topped at 30. You may consider one to be more viral than the other. Personally, if you asked me, I would say Triple T is a lot more viral. But that doesn't mean that the buyers of the coin have enough money to send it to where it specifically should be priced at. And that is something that a lot of people don't consider. And they would say X deserves to be at Y market cap, but they don't really consider the marginal buyer at X market cap or so on and so forth. So you need to consider why you think something is mispriced in the first place. And after that, then you can decide whether or not it's truly mispriced at all. Personally, I think everything in time will always be priced where it should be. For instance,
