Jude Law shared a wild anecdote from the set of Sherlock Holmes (2009) involving Robert Downey Jr. and an unfortunate extra. During a scene where they entered a room packed with rubber bodies, Law noticed a large prop hand lying on the floor. He says Downey Jr. simply stomped on it without hesitation. The move caused the actor beneath the prop to scream out, “Aargh! For the love of God!” in the middle of the fake carnage. Downey Jr. later joked about the aftermath, noting the extra claimed he had the honor of having his hand stomped by the great Sherlock Holmes. The actor added that if this happened in America, the reaction would have been immediate: “LAWSUIT!”
