Bees form heat ball around hornet

Worker bees are extremely serious about protecting their society. To defend the hive, they form a 46°C heat ball around invading hornets. This mechanism protects the colony's next generation and their queen. The workers create this shield without harming themselves. One bee is caught, which serves as the signal for others to gather. Surrounded by vibrating bodies, the hornet at the core begins to overheat. Bees have a heat tolerance two degrees above that of their enemy. At 46 degrees Celsius, the aggressor is roasted alive.
