ANYmal quadruped robot badminton ETH Zurich
Bro ETH Zurich's Robotic Systems Lab dropped a legit strat with ANYmal, the quadruped robot that actually plays badminton. It tracks the shuttlecock, predicts where it's going, and moves into position to swing the racket. The whole control system locks in vision, movement, and swings all at once for this Legged Robotics demo.

A team of researchers from ETH Zurich has developed a quadruped robot that is able to play badminton with humans. The robot, AnyMAL, is equipped with a control system that coordinates shuttlecock tracking, leg movement, and stroke execution. Like humans, it can predict the direction of the shuttlecock and move to the correct position to return shots.
