Rescued Otter Returns With Baby

A man swimming in a river stumbled upon a tiny baby otter all by itself. He brought the little one home, brewed warm milk, and nursed it until it was strong enough to survive on its own. At some point he introduced the otter to his cat; after an initial scare they ended up as friends. Before letting it go back into the wild he did some training at the riverside. Months later while rowing a boat on the water an otter climbed aboard carrying a crayfish. The man recognized the visitor as the one he had rescued earlier. It seemed unwell so he took the pregnant otter to a pet hospital where she gave birth to healthy babies shortly after being checked. The mother initially held her newborn in her mouth as if offering it to the man. Later he spotted the mother otter and her baby swimming near a dock.

When the man was swimming in the river, a mysterious creature suddenly appeared behind him. He reached out his hand tentatively, and this turned out to be a newborn baby otter. Without the mother's protection, the little fellow could hardly survive. The man decided to bring it home to take care of it temporarily. He did not expect that this gentle decision would actually become the most wonderful surprise in his life. Just arriving at the strange new environment, the little fellow was a bit unaccustomed, looking around continuously in nervousness. The man brewed warm milk for him. Unexpectedly, the little fellow drinking milk for the first time actually wagged his tail happily, pleasing the boy just like a puppy. The man introduced the cat at home to get to know it. But upon their first meeting, the little fellow was frightened out of his wits. But after just a short while, the two of them mingled into good friends. Happy times are always short-lived. The man understood that the otter's home was ultimately nature. He began to bring it to the riverside to conduct wild training. Watching the otter's happy appearance in the water, the man knew that the moment of parting had arrived. No matter how much reluctance there was, he still sent it back to the wilderness. A few months later, when the man was rowing a boat in the lake alone, an otter leaped onto the boat suddenly, presenting the crayfish it caught with hard work to him. And it lingered in the cabin, unwilling to leave. The man realized all of a sudden, it was him. He came back. However, the little fellow's conditions seemed not very good, and he brought it to the pet hospital immediately. He discovered with pleasant surprise that it turned out the otter was pregnant. And not long after, she gave birth to her own babies. The very first thing the mother otter did was holding her own baby in her mouth, wanting to give it to the boy. Not long after, when the man came to the dock for a walk once again, two familiar figures were floating on their backs quietly on the water surface. The mother otter seemed to be showing off to the old friend on the shore. Look, my baby has been taken care of very well by me. This is the most beautiful reward given to kindness by nature.
