Michael Jackson Morph X-Men preference
by Zimmermann 054: Michael Jackson
Michael was once asked to name his ideal superhero and explain the reasoning. He selected Morph from the X-Men rather than Batman or Superman. The choice highlighted how Morph "constantly transforms himself.. could become anything.. mysterious.. can even teleport." This preference mirrors the artist's own career, which relied on continual reinvention and a desire for fluidity or escape. MJ was also a devoted Spider Man and Marvel fan. He attempted to purchase Marvel at one stage. Stan Lee noted that MJ held hopes of possibly playing Spider Man. Given this deep connection, the author is certain MJ would have loved Spider Man: Brand New Day. It is also likely he would have enjoyed many of the Marvel movies and series released in recent years.

If you could be any superhero, like Batman, Superman, whom would you choose to be and why? Gee, I like Batman a lot. If I had to choose one to be... I like Morph from the X-Men. Because... Yeah, M.O.R.P.H. Because he constantly transforms himself. He can become anything. And when you're not expecting him, he's there. And he's very mysterious. And I think he can even teleport, which is exciting to me. to me, to be in one place at one moment, and another place at another moment. And he can be all things, become all things. That's exciting to me. So I think I like more. He's not as popular as the others, but that's why he's exciting.
