Scott Jennings Detroit voters
scott jennings addressed a democrat confident in abdulrahman mohamed el sayed’s victory by urging them to consult black voters in detroit first. he stated these constituents are none too pleased with el sayed and are instead interested in mike rogers. jennings identified this disconnect as the biggest weakness for socialist candidates, asserting the democratic coalition depends on black voters who are not supporting socialism. despite the critique, the speaker expressed belief that democratic unification will occur. he hopes president obama will engage with the electorate, suggesting that with such involvement, things will ultimately be all right.

Before you speak to all the Republicans and Independents, you might want to speak to the black voters in Detroit. They're none too pleased with Abdul El-Sayed. They're interested in Mike Rogers. I think that's the biggest weakness in these socialist candidates. The Democratic coalition depends on black voters, and they're not there on the social side. It's a fair point. We're going to have democratic unification occurring, and I hope President Obama will get out there and others, and I think we'll be all right.
