a woman jumped several floors down into a firefighter's arms in berlin. the building has 16 floors and she was on the 11th floor while the ladder only reached the 9th floor. there are 6 floors above the fire with smoke coming from a window above. this makes you wonder if emergency service equipment is adequate even though the rescue worked out. since berlin has thousands of tall buildings, being on the top floor would have meant she couldn't jump like that.
