Mike D'Antoni breaks the stick
Mike D'Antoni says he'll break the stick only if an offensive system beats '7 seconds or less'. He calls Flex offense and Motion offense inefficient, plus Instant offense and Post-centric offense don't fit today's game. Triangle offense is good but inefficient now. He likes Dribble drive motion offense as part of what they do, though not better. Small ball isn't the right term; it's Skilled ball where taller players with skills are best. Steve Nash and Amar'e Stoudemire pick-and-roll is done as well as anybody, and Stockton-Malone works too, but nothing else breaks the stick over that standard.

Break the stick when you hear an offensive system better than seven seconds or less. Alright. Flex offense. No, not even close. Inefficient. Motion offense. Motion's not bad, but again, probably inefficient. Dribble drive motion offense. I like that. I don't think it's better, but it's a part of what we do, so yeah. Small ball. Actually, that should never be small ball. Somebody coined that term. It's skilled ball. And the taller they are, the better it is, but they have to all have skills like small guys. Instant offense. No. Triangle offense. Yeah, right. Give me Michael Jordan and Pippen. It's good, but I think in today's game, it's pretty inefficient. Post-centric offense. Nah, you can use some of it. You can incorporate it, but it's, again, a little bit inefficient. Steve Nash and Amari pick and roll. Probably done as well as anybody. Stockton Malone, you can make it. So other than that, those two, two duos, but it's really good. Now this is not going to break it over that.
