Anything can be learned

    by Katrina Karan: Tiger Woods

You can learn anything. The gap between you and Tiger Woods? Desire and repetition. While everyone else hits the pub or watches TV, the ones who break through are studying, grinding, going over their craft again and again. There's no shortcut: no book, no course, no guru. Nobody can teach you. You decide to teach yourself. A guide can point the way, but you have to want it. That's the whole difference between the 99% and the 1%

Anything can be learned. I can start playing golf like Tiger Woods. The only thing that separates me to Tiger Woods is desire and repetition. So when you bugger off to the pub or you sit and watch your favorite TV program, I study charts. I go over the trading day. Just like Tiger Woods, when everyone else hit the clubhouse, he went and worked out. And there's no shortcut. You can't buy a book. You can't attend a course. You can't listen to anyone. You see, you can't be taught anything. I cannot teach you anything. You have to decide to teach yourself. I can guide you, but ultimately you, in any endeavor in life, be it sport, be it politics, be it education, you have to want it yourself. And that's what separates 99% to the 1%, the ones that truly dream and dare and go for their goals and their vision.
