FBI Director Kash Patel has filed for the arrest of Darren Anthony Robinson, who's on the Bureau's Most Wanted Fraudster List. Robinson allegedly ran a Ponzi scheme through an investment firm, scamming victims out of millions. He's wanted for wire fraud and money laundering, and he's been on the run since November 2023 when he cut off his GPS device. Authorities say he operated this sophisticated Ponzi scheme impacting hundreds of victims, but today he's being added to this new list, this new FBI Most Wanted fraudster list created just a few months ago. Now, this is his wanted poster on the FBI website. It's been there for several years. They're now offering a reward of up to $150,000 for any information that leads to his arrest and conviction. Authorities say he's been on the run since November 2023 when he cut off his GPS device. They say that he was the founder of an investment firm that operated as a Ponzi scheme. Watch. Instead of investing the funds as he represented, Robinson allegedly used the investor funds to pay earlier investors, cover his business expenses, and to support his lavish international lifestyle.
