Tangent Robotics is leveling up their hand game with TR-02. This three-fingered robotic hand has an integrated palm and each fingertip carries a touch sensor they built in-house that picks up contact and pressure in real time. It can grab, lift, shift, wrap around, and hold objects steady while it works them. That’s a serious jump from the two-fingered TR-01.

New York-based Tangent Robotics unveiled as a next-generation robotic platform TR-02. This three-fingered robotic hand with an integrated palm is a major upgrade over their two-fingered TR-01. Each fingertip has an integrated touch sensor developed in-house, which can sense real-time fingertip experiences. TR-02 is more capable of stable grasps, moving objects, lift and wraparound objects, and even manipulate and stabilize at the same time.
