Marco Rubio abolishes State Department DEI rule

Fox News reports Marco Rubio has abolished a Biden-era rule that compelled State Department staff to advance DEI agendas abroad. The directive previously asked if Front Offices routinely raise social inclusion, racial/gender equity, disability, and LGBTQI+ issues with high-level host country interlocutors, especially where these topics are problematic, and whether they appear in bilateral dialogues whenever appropriate. It also queried: "Do you speak up, in the moment, to support colleagues and try to help all understand when there might be bias that undermines inclusivity?" This change is long overdue. Good riddance to those mandates. Thank you, Marco Rubio.
