Every thought rewires your brain
by Katrina Karan: Health
Your mind leaves a physical trace with every thought, memory, or new piece of info. Those links between neurons, the synapses, get built up and reinforced as you think, learn, or feel something. That whole reshaping process is neuroplasticity, and your brain does it constantly in response to whatever you experience. Even watching this video activates certain brain areas and opens new interaction routes between neurons. So right now, and every second for the rest of your life, you're actively rebuilding your brain's architecture

Every thought, memory, or piece of new information leaves a tangible imprint on your brain, literally. As you think, learn, or experience emotions, connections between neurons, called synapses, are formed and strengthened. This process is known as neuroplasticity. The brain continually reshapes itself in response to experience. Even watching this video activates specific regions of your brain, creating new pathways of interaction between neurons. In other words, you are actively rewriting the architecture of your brain right now. And you do this every second throughout your entire life.
