Michael LaRosa endorses Mike Rogers over El Sayed
by Flint: Mike Rogers
Michael LaRosa, who used to be Jill Biden's press secretary, is done with his own side. He's officially backing Mike Rogers, a Republican, over the Democrat Abdulrahman Mohamed El Sayed. His reason: he won't defend anyone too scared to stand up to extremists who think the mother of his best friend, who jumped from 95 stories because the alternative was worse, deserved what happened to her. And about Hasan Piker, LaRosa says this isn't what he signed up for and Piker is just not the leader of his party

I THINK I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS. I THINK I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS. YOU PUT THIS OUT ON X ON SUNDAY AND I SAID GET MICHAEL ON THE AIR. LET ME GUESS. YOU SAID YOU'RE SUPPORTING MIKE ROGERS IN MICHIGAN INSTEAD OF ABDULRAKLAND EL-SAIED. YOU SAID THIS, I REFUSE TO DEFEND OR SUPPORT ANYONE WITH AN SS-TOTENKOMF TATTOO. I WON'T DEFEND OR SUPPORT ANYONE WHO IS TOO COWARDLY TO STAND UP TO EXTREMISTS WHO THINK THE MOTHER OF MY BEST folks have passed just because, hey, it's all about getting elected. It's not about person. I want the Democrats to win. I think they're going to win the Senate. I think they're going to win the House. I want Chuck Schumer and Brian Schatz to be the next majority leaders. I want to do it without El-Sayed. And that can be done. But this isn't what I signed up for. Totenkov and SS and defending it and then defending Hassan Piker is just not the leader of my party. And it's okay for Democrats to say that. My old boss, Chris Matthews, was on TV this morning saying Democrats just need to do the hard part for politicians, which is sometimes standing up to your friends. Having a spine. All right, gentlemen, thanks so much for being with us.
