Logan Paul got real about almost backing out of the Pikachu Illustrator sale. He considers himself a collector, not a seller, so letting it go was tough. There was a moment after Ken already had the deal locked where he nearly texted him to return the $2.5M and call it off. One morning he woke up feeling wildly uncomfortable about moving the card, even though he’d committed. He talked it through with Nina and they ultimately went through with it, and it ended up selling for $16,492,000. He still doesn’t like selling though.

I generally don't sell. I am not a seller. I'm a collector. It was hard for me to move that card. In fact, when I had the Pikachu, the Pokemon, or Pikachu illustrator, when Ken had already done the deal with me, there was a time where I swear to God I was this close to hitting him up and saying, I'm going to give you your 2-5 back. I don't want to do this anymore. I woke up one morning and felt wildly uncomfortable that I was letting this card go, which was insane. because in my head I committed to selling this card. I even talked to my, I'm like, Nina, I don't know if I want to move this card. And we ultimately decided to sell it. I don't like selling. So when to sell, I mean, shit, man. For me, it's gotta be something in my life needs to be going on where it's like, okay, this is the moment.
