Logan Paul One Piece Pokémon take

    by Tufail: Logan Paul

Logan Paul sees real traffic in the One Piece market and admits his lack of deep understanding is an indicator that people should pay attention. He compares the franchise to this generation's Pokémon after digging into data showing it is the greatest-selling manga of all time, a volume he likens to Superman sales metrics. The momentum continues with the show getting picked up on Netflix, being renewed for x amount of seasons, and the anime getting remade. While he views it as an interesting market to dive into, Logan explains he has not gone crazy with trading cards because he does not know enough about them yet. He notes that working with those items is a lot of work, whereas the manga felt more identifiable to him despite the learning curve.

There is real traffic here. Like, this exists. Maybe I don't get it. That's a problem. That in itself is almost an indicator that this is something to pay attention to. And then you start digging into the data about One Piece and the manga and how it's like the greatest selling manga of all time in the third amount of time that Superman did. And, okay, that's interesting. And then you look at how many people like One Piece and the show just got picked up on Netflix. It's being renewed for X amount of seasons. They're remaking the anime. Like, oh my gosh, hold on a second. I think one piece is this current young people's generation's Pokemon. And so what does that look like as it evolves? And I think that's potentially an interesting market to dive into. I have not gone crazy with the trading cards because I just don't know enough. It's a lot of work. It's a lot of work. I just don't know enough about it. The manga is something that I don't know why I kind of understood. Well, because it was very identifiable.
