A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Colombia's Chocó province, the USGS reports, with injuries and SIGNIFICANT damage. The National Unit for Disaster Risk Management had an earlier read of 6.6 at 79 km depth, centered near San José del Palmar. The quake struck in the morning and details are still coming in.
