income tax rate here in the United States would be four percentage points higher than California. California. And so the message we're delivering is let's end the 400-year property tax increase that led to the largest increase in property taxes in 30 years here in Wisconsin last December. Let's get control of our utility rates, which have been skyrocketing, $2 billion plus in the last eight years. Let's get control of the red tape and let's also audit all of state government. It is one of the most popular issues amongst people that I'm talking to at this point. Boy, let's root out the fraud and waste because we know it's happening here in Wisconsin also.
