Colombia FARC dissident Menor captured

Colombia’s army got a FARC dissident leader off the streets, the guy known as Menor was grabbed by the 29th Brigade in a raid earlier this month, he ran things for the Dagoberto Ramos structure at a mid level. That’s happening while a major rebel group says it pulled off a vehicle-mounted assault on police compounds in a border city, the blast wounded more than ten officers and wrecked dormitories, vehicles and nearby shops. Troops, armor and checkpoints are pouring into that same area as the security response escalates. Down south a different operation rounded up five people from another criminal outfit plus weapons and vehicles. And overnight a rural police station got hit again, the violence just keeps spreading
