Zelensky meets Serbia PM Macut

Zelensky and Serbia’s new PM Đuro Macut held talks centered on Russia’s recent missile and drone attacks. They also touched on the Danube Corridor, economic cooperation tied to the EU, and winter energy support. Serbia is putting €2M into Ukraine’s energy sector, and Macut offered assistance to rebuild a war-damaged Ukrainian city. Macut stepped in for Miloš Vučević, whose exit came after student-led protests over corruption and mismanagement. His government carries on the Vučić-era approach: stability, EU ambitions, and a careful balancing act between Russia and Ukraine.
