Lonzo Ball and Michael Porter Jr. both say they'd run the WNBA as middle schoolers. Ball went with ninth grade, over six feet, dunking, and no woman in the league was doing that. Porter picked eighth grade because he actually lived it: his sisters went to University of Missouri and he was on the scout team against WNBA players like Sophie Cunningham when he was in seventh or eighth grade. They kept it respectful but the physical gap is the whole point for them.

And I mean this as respectfully as possible. But ninth grade Lonzo Ball in the WNBA is going crazy. All right. Just look in ninth grade. I'm over six feet and I'm dunking like I'm coming through the like no girl in the WNBA is doing that. I'm going back door throw it up like I'm looking like Jordan out there. So I'm gonna just say that I mean it so respectfully. So great senior. Middle school down. I give it to the WNBA. I'm going to go probably eighth grade. Because, look, I have real experience doing this because I played. My sisters went to University of Missouri, and I was still a young dude. And they had me playing, like, on the scout team. And they had a few WNBA players on their team, like Sophie Cunningham and a couple others. And I think I was, like, in the seventh or eighth grade going, dumb. I'm talking about, like, I have real life experience. It's not physically fair, bro. It's just a difference, man. And I wish this would stop in the conversation because it should be common sense. but like it's just not but i appreciate you know common sense i feel like sometimes that's lost a little bit
