by Flint: Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris endorsed Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed in the Michigan Senate race while speaking at an event. The move has people reading it as prep for a 2028 presidential run, where she could end up facing JD Vance. Fox News ran a graphic listing her recent stops, July 31 in Nashville, then New Orleans, and framed it as Harris in New Orleans while Dems lurch left. The source isn't hiding their stance: they want her kept far from office and are already talking about beating her again

there today, one week after a stop in Nashville and after throwing support behind Abdul El-Sayed in the Michigan Senate race. Hugh Hewitt is standing by, but first let's get to our correspondent. Mark Meredith is reporting live out of Washington. Hello, Mark. Sandra, good to see you. Former Vice President Kamala Harris is throwing her support behind Michigan's new Senate nominee, the progressive Abdul El-Sayed, who also once tried to stand in the way of the Biden-Harris renomination back in early 2024. Harris was neutral during Michigan's primary, but this morning she sent out a fundraising email for Al-Sayed, who if elected would become the first Muslim elected to the Senate. She wrote in a statement, Abdul knows that we need bold solutions to the crises facing America's working families.
