Scott Bessent has just ordered FinCEN to surge a geographical targeting order in MINNESOTA following massive Somali fraud, and taxpayer dollars flowing to the Middle East BESSENT LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED 🔥 BESSENT: "Treasury promised to follow the money, and that is exactly what we are doing. We will continue to give law enforcement critical tools to trace criminal networks that siphon taxpayer dollars and move them overseas." HINCEN has also issued a geographic targeting order for Hennepin and Ramsey counties that require banks and money transmitters to report additional information about funds transferred outside of the United States. This will put a microscope on these businesses, advance prosecutions, and assist in the recovery of funds laundered internationally. Fraudsters in Minnesota stole at least $300 million meant for children in need.
