Sec. Rubio announced sanctions on 5 Cuban entities and 8 individuals linked to arms procurement for the communist regime. He called Cuba a state sponsor of terrorism that spies on America, arms left-wing radicals, spreads Marxist ideology, and hosts Russia, China, and Iran just 90 miles from U.S. shores. "Anyone supporting, sponsoring, or providing services to these sanctioned actors is at risk of being sanctioned themselves." He also said, "Foreign banks and other companies that provide services to, or hold funds for, these entities should terminate those activities immediately."
