Michael Swinton repatriation Fayetteville
Staff Sergeant Michael Swinton’s body came home Monday in a flag-draped coffin, met by his wife and family at Fayetteville Regional Airport. The Fort Bragg soldier, 30, was killed July 19 while destroying an Iranian drone that had been downed in Iraq. A water-cannon salute honored him before the cortege moved toward Hope Mills. His funeral is set for Saturday at Southview Baptist Church in North Carolina
