A woman climbed down from a tree, but her clothes got snagged on the branches. To avoid embarrassment, Mike immediately turned away. Unexpectedly, when he let go, Mary's skirt was completely lifted up. Mike didn't dare to look back or approach until Mary safely reached the ground to help her. But suddenly, a lizard appeared behind them. Mary screamed and jumped onto Mike at once, staying there until the lizard wandered off. To prevent its return, she quickly left, but then accidentally encountered a rhinoceros. She dashed back to Mike in panic. In the middle of the African savannah, besides lizards, other beasts lurked around. Night was falling, and the two hadn't eaten for two days. Just then, spotting ostrich eggs in the distance, they hatched a plan. Mary strapped weeds to her back and held a stick, disguising herself as a female ostrich to draw the bird's attention. While she did this, Mike sneaked toward the eggs. Just as he nearly succeeded, the ostriches sensed something was wrong and charged at him. Mike raced to a grassy pile, flopped to the ground, and played dead to dodge their attack, narrowly escaping disaster. Afterward, Mike dug up sand to roast the eggs, but the lizard reappeared. Mary leaped onto him again, this time with a mix of relief and exasperation.
