The most fearsome starting pitcher in Japanese baseball is a 22-year-old named Shohei Otani. The most prolific hitter in Japanese baseball is a 22-year-old named Shohei Otani, batting left and pitching right. Should he pull it off, Otani will become the first major leaguer in a century to figure in a team's starting rotation and in its everyday hitting line. The last such player was a guy named Babe Ruth. About two years ago, I thought Shohei Ohtani was better than Babe Ruth, and I got pushback. I admit I was wrong. He's significantly better than Babe Ruth. Okay. There goes Ohtani. Oh, my goodness. Ohtani. Ohtani has done it again. Outro Music
