Scott Bessent on yen intervention

    by Flint: Scott Bessent

Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent confirmed the Trump administration has already stepped in on the Japanese yen to help stabilize it. He says the U.S. won't hesitate to join further intervention and backs Japan's moves to fix the undervaluation. Bessent also gave a shoutout to the Takaichi government's new Abenomics phase, saying 15 years of stimulus built real momentum. Economic security is national security, and the U.S.-Japan alliance sits on both. Trump's got Japan's back, probably making a buck too
