Eight dads in tutus perform Swan Lake for Women's Day

by Felix P: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

Eight dads traded their usual routines for tutus and tights to perform Swan Lake at a Women's Day celebration. They trained seriously for it, like athletes getting ready for a big game. The ballet, composed by Tchaikovsky in 1875, tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, a princess cursed to be a swan by day and human at night. With the sorcerer's daughter Odile causing confusion, the tale winds through forgiveness to a happy ending. It's sweet to see fathers embrace the classic with such heart.
