Jensen Huang says the market keeps misreading what Kimi is. He calls China's models excellent and says great open models should be used, no matter where they come from. That's even as Kimi reportedly replaces some OpenAI and Anthropic usage inside Microsoft. Microsoft is using and testing Kimi. The information says Chinese models may even replace some of Microsoft's use of open AI and Thropic. So this Chinese competition is coming fast and furious. What should USAI companies do? These Chinese models are excellent. Open source models that are excellent should be used. And so the market's misunderstood the impact of DeepSeek the first time.
