How did appearing on Cowboy Carter affect your career? I mean, in every way. I mean, appearing on that album, I grew up listening to all the music. I mean, I'm a 2000s baby or late 90s baby, so I spent a lot of my years listening to 2000s hip-hop, R&B, Destiny's Child, all the records. You know, Irreplaceable, I used to sing that song. Every time it came on the radio, I was screaming it. You know, so my cousins, all my family members, like Beyoncé was their idol. So to be a part of that project really just kind of just gave me a stamp and a battery pack. And it put it behind me that, like, you know, you're standing next to, and you're, you know, you're on a project with a legend. And she asked you to be a part of this project. And one of the biggest things that people don't know, I recorded two of those verses. And when it came out, she didn't change a single thing. Not an ad lib, nothing. She allowed me to just be me on that project. So it really just was motivation for me to just be like, yo, Beyonce, co-sign me. Like, I got to take off. Like, I got to... She gave me this push, and then she was like, yo, run. And I was like, I was running as fast as I could, honestly.
