The Antares region packs a lot into one frame. Antares itself is a red supergiant ~550 light-years away, straddling the Scorpius-Ophiuchus border. Above it, the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex sits about 400 light-years out. Then there's globular cluster M4, way farther at 5,500 light-years, with stars over 10 billion years old.
