Watch electrical wires go haywire when a truck snags some power lines, ripping a utility pole clear out of the ground. It happened in Toms River, New Jersey. As mid-morning traffic was flowing freely, Ocean County sheriffs set a flatbed truck, hauling a forklift, snagged an overhead line, sending wires and sparks flying and uprooting a utility pole, sending it spinning. Thankfully, no injuries were reported by the department, but utility crews did have to work to clear debris and restore power to affected customers.
